Imagine...

There is an 'Apple'...

Is that easy to say?

Is that easy to understand?

Then how about this?

そこに'リンゴ'があります

YES. This is Japanese says 'There is an Apple'. you can know the word 'リンゴ' means 'Apple' and also we use 'アップル' which pronounce as same as Apple in Japanese. For example 'アップルジュース (apple juice)'.

Then can we say

そこに'アップル'があります

Instead saying 'リンゴがあります'

Answer is

'not really...'

Because depending what sentence it had before and what sentence will come to the next, but only see this one sentence, そこに'リンゴがあります' is more sounds like talking about a Apple (fruit) and 'そこにアップルがあります' sounds like about IT company. Similar as 'Hoover' is actually a name of the company, but we say that normally means electronic dust vacuum machine. I think most of the British knows this word and using as normal word, then how about America? they also using English as first language but they don't understand the word Hoover, because specifically that is not English.

I also read a interesting article about 'Toilet' It said a Chinese girl went to America for holiday and was finding Toilet but she didn't know how to say Toilet in English so she wrote WC on the paper and showing to people, but no one understand. Maybe this is a stupid example, but only in English there is so many way to say Toilet, such as WC (water closet), bathroom, loo, washroom, ladies room and actually Toilet is originally came from French 'Toilette' which means Dressing up.

From these example you can see meaning of language is based on our life experience.

OK. lets go back to Apple.

I don't want you say the topic of Apple is only happening in Japanese, so I asked the most observed thing...Google...

Now days when we had something don't know, we will firstly think about 'Let's Google it' So I typed 'Apple' then...

Spuriously the best hit of the result is Apple (IT company) mark and I even don't know why a swan appeared in the first page...because I didn't believe this result as there should be big promoting of the Apple (Company). As English, the sentence 'There is an "Apple"..' means 'There is an "Apple"' I thought. But maybe I was wrong... So this time I typed the whole sentence 'There is an Apple' and got...

OK...

I still couldn't find the best result for the Apple I just imagined. But maybe some of the image is the Apple you did imagine.

In your mind...

Do you think you imagined same Apple as I said?

I imagine the answer is NO... because I did imagined a scenary...

Maybe this is jumping too much...

but... maybe not ...

In Neil Fleming's VAK/VARK model they are talking about we are all have different way of Learning process (or thinking or imagine). In my case, reading and writing is strongly poor than another. In my mind I used seeing (or thinking) everything in moving image with sound and all senses. Feels like I am operating information in a virtual space that I created in my mind and watching in different layer of the image I see in actual eyes.

... difficult to describe in text... right?

that's why I am not good at writing.

Then lets show you in more easy way.. Please watch 'The Good Doctor(2018)' an American TV Drama.

The main character Dr. Shaun Murphy has same thinking prosess as me, and they discribed in TV very well .

Also they are showing how difficult when he try to communicate and difficult to get people's understanding. Then they found using VR to seeing object which is not in physical space but we can share our thought. I thought this is certain things I wanted to have when I had difficulty to communicate with visual and movement. Only the problem with this solution is It needs to have already made object (and moving) data in VR. But of course it needs time to make them, or... maybe we could use Brain scan to read your mind in near future. Just need massive analyse and big data for now.
